The Buffy Girls Still Have It!
All the Buffy girls (well, a lot of them) reunited for Media’s 25th Annual Paley TV Festival on Thursday and almost five years since the cult show ended, the ladies still look fabulous!
L-R: Michelle Trachtenberg, Emma Caulfield, Amber Benson, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Charisma Carpenter
It was amazing to see the real big name stars show up for the Buffy The Vampire Slayer Reunion, including leading lady Sarah Michelle Gellar.
In my opinion Sarah, who of course played vampire slaying, butt-kicking, Buffy, looked the best in her coral Chloe Resort 2008 mini dress. The dress had a pleated front and she wore it with black tights and black peep toes. Her hair is very long and blonde at the moment, like in her Buffy days!
Michelle Trachtenberg played Buffy’s little sister Dawn (or “the key” for die-hard fans!) on the show. She is definitely coming into her own with her fashion sense recently. Despite being the youngest Buffy lady there, her strapless camel and black pencil dress with stylish waist belt was the most sophisticated outfit of them all. The dress is from Lela Rose’s Spring 2008 Collection and the pockets certainly give it a more youthful feel. I also luuurve her black sling backs!
Charisma Carpenter played bitchy Cordelia both on Buffy and its spin-off show Angel. Charisma dressed like her sexy alter-ego Cordelia at the Paleyfest wearing a white satin pencil dress. That is a very hard look to pull off without a perfect figure. Luckily Charisma has one! Unfortunately her long lightened locks look cheap and tacky. She looked so much better when she used to have a cute dark bob!
Looking cute and simple in a burgandy shift and black tights was Amber Benson aka Tara. She looks a little thrown-together and causal but I like that. We can’t all be perfectly sleek all the time! The only thing I would change though is, I’d swap her pointed courts for veyr high-heeled, black round toe pumps.
And finally, of course there always has to be one! Emma Caulfield played the kooky Anya on the hit show and looked in character at the event, wearing what I can only describe as a cowgirl on a night out ensemble! Emma donned a cute strapless white playsuit, which is very trendy right now, but ruined it by over-accessorising. Let this be a lesson to you all!
She added a black blazer, black ankle boots, lots of long layered gold necklaces and…….a trilby! This would have looked great with peep toes, an updo and dangly earrings don’t you think?? Never mind!
It really is great to see all the girls in one place again though. It’s a shame there was no Willow or Faith though!
Maybe now is the time to discuss a new Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie…………….?? Which should be like the TV show and nothing like the original Buffy movie might I add!!

I was one of the ‘die hard’ Buffy fans you mention! What a brilliant show, and great to see the cast looking fabulous as ever. Lets hope they give further thought to a Buffy movie or some kind of spin off show.
