Stockings Girls!
There’s a secret place I like to go where I can escape the daunting world of fall fashion trends and hot young designers, where I can simply drift off into the blissfully beautiful world of all that is leggy and lace… it’s called StockinGirl.com, and I can get lost for hours on end looking at all of their legwear.
I know. I’m a strange breed. Lost in the world of stockings? Well these aren’t your ordinary nude or sheer black pantyhose. These are accessories unto themselves. They are so unique and different; I just play like I can afford everything on the site. While the average price is only $22.99 a pair, I want them ALL, meaning once my shopping cart is full, I really can’t afford to checkout.
I’ll spend an afternoon searching the massive database of stockings and thigh-highs and pantyhose and tights… How pathetic and lovely. What fun for the fashion lover in me. Whatever I like goes into the cart, only to be perused later as a wonderful collage of beautiful legwear. Why so beautiful? They offer patterns and prints, along with bright neon colors and shimmers and textures. These aren’t your grandmother’s nylons.

The greatest thing about these tights is that I can add them to my arsenal of “things that no one else at the party will be wearing.” (That’s my favorite arsenal in case you were wondering.)
The fact of the matter is that with Stockingirl’s products, it’s so easy to look fancy: put on your tired LBD (little black dress – and when I say tired, I mean 5 years old, run through the wash, covered with cat hair and equally bad sweat stains), add your maroon Pucci print tights, and boom – instant fabulous outfit. I admit, I’ve bought many a pair that I can’t quite afford, but my credit card bailed me out of the situation, and now my credit card and I have reconciled.
