Penelope Premiers Jennifer Lopez gives Birth to Twins and More!

I’ve been looking forward to a little film called Penelope for a while now and was delighted to see some photo’s emerge from the premiere! Penelope is a modern day fairytale starring Christina Ricci as a young girl with a terrible curse, hidden away from the world. Befriended by a free spirited rock chick (Reece Witherspoon) she sets her sights on finding the man of her dreams (James McAvoy) who will love her despite her rather unfortunate disfigurement. Theres a cute little rhyme from the movie that sums it up perfectly …

The tale of Penelope did not start well, her beauty transformed by an evil spell. To the world outside the news was big, a poor little girl, with the nose of a pig! How to break the curse? Well, nobody knows… unless a handsome prince can be made to propose.

All 3 stars showed up to the movies premiere the other night, with Reece wearing her usual smart but conservative style, James in a very fetching pinstripe jacket and black trousers and Christina providing the sex appeal in a cute black dress with gold and silver detailing. I can’t wait to see how the movie has turned out and will definitely be off to see it as soon as possible!

In other news, J-lo has finally given birth, and yes the speculation has been correct, she’s had twins! A girl who was born at 12.12 am and weighed 5lb 7oz and a boy followed at 12.23am, weighing 6lbs. I can’t wait to see pictures of them; I bet they are absolutely gorgeous! Do we think J-Lo will do a big sell out to OK or the likes? Given how protective she’s been about her pregnancy from the start I’m wondering how much we’ll get to see of the two little cuties!

Let’s talk about the Brit Awards shall we? Sharon Osbourne’s swearing and inability to read an autocue has almost overshadowed the main event but there were some brilliant performances on the night including Rhianna and a great medley from Mika which was highly entertaining! Kate Nash won best female which I was really pleased about, her first single ‘Foundations’ was absolutely brilliant and I’m looking forward to seeing more of her in the future.

Finally, I just thought I’d bring you news of singer Pink and Carey Hart’s planned divorce. The couple who I had always thought to be pretty solid together have announced that they are divorcing. Pink has put a blog up on her website asking fans to please be supportive and explaining that she and Carey are still best friends. Hopefully that’s how things will continue to stay and we won’t see another nasty Hollywood divorce!
