Let’s Meew for Miu Miu and Star Styles
Feast your eyes on Miu Miu’s gorgeous spring 2008 campaign featuring Kirsten Dunst, photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Pigott.

It’s a theatrical whirl of neat scarlet lips, Alice in Wonderland bows, silky mustard yellows and woven chromatic bags. Think a glittering night under the Big Top, where feminine style meets clown chic and you’re halfway there! I know it sounds frankly bizarre but it’s a real class act.

For the initiated, Miu Miu is the ‘naughty little sister’ fashion label spawned from the almighty house of Prada. It was in 1992, where it all began with founder, Miuccia Prada at the helm. To this day, they are renowned for their slick and clean designs which are always at the cutting edge of fashion.

Looks like Kirsten really loves this bag. I’d be like that too if I had one of those in my possession.

Why not take inspiration from these spreads, by throwing on a pair of dazzling yellow shoes to grab attention. Pair it with a simple dress like the one above. It’s adorably cute, yet sexy without being tarty. It’s just too bad that we’re not all blessed with the hind legs of a gazelle to pull this off!
Did you know?
• The name ‘Miu Miu’ is the nickname of Miuccia Prada.
• Kirsten Dunst follows in the footsteps of Laetitia Caste and Lindsay Lohan, as new the face of Miu Miu.

Marc Jacobs
For something a little less pretentious dramatic, check out Marc Jacobs’s spring/summer ad campaign shot by Juergen Teller, featuring none other than Miss Posh Spice herself, Victoria Beckham.

Victoria says, “The images are humorous and ironic. You can’t be afraid to experiment with fashion, especially when working with Marc and Juergen - you have to push the envelope and show a different side.”
Victoria’s Favourite Shot

“If I have to pick favorites, it’s the package series: me coming out of the box in the gray knit dress shot with the hat, as well as the image of the oversize shopping bag. Certainly, if you can’t get locked inside a Marc Jacobs store, then trapped inside a Marc bag has got to be the next best thing.”
Star Styles This Week!
First off, Katie Holmes at the taping of BET’s 106 & Park at the BET Studios in New York City on January 16.

This is a perfectly ‘nice’ outfit…for a more mature woman. I realise Katie is mother now but she is also only 29 years old. It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t dress with some pizazz. Maybe it’s her haircut, usually bobs can give you a more youthful look but it seems to have aged her. It’s a real shame, because I can still remember her effortlessly chic and cute style back in the days of Dawson’s Creek.
Up next is Rachel Bilson at “Heaven: Celebrating 10 Years” event benefiting the Art Elysium in Los Angeles, January 12

I just had to pick this out, because these drop diamond earrings are to die for. They’re really working a subtle yet glamorous look with her long hair.
Michelle Trachtenberg at the “Cloverfield” premiere in Los Angeles, January 16
She brings a little goth-punk chic to her event, by throwing on a pair of black tights and matching it with a divine monochrome dress; painted dark nails and alabaster skin.

Michelle gets another picture posted because she seriously has the most flawless skin I ever seen! I wonder what her secret is, air brushing?

Julia Stiles at Chanel Fine Jewellery’s “Night of Diamonds” dinner in New York City, January 16.
Julia does understated chic so well at the latest Chanel event in New York.

Tip! You really cannot go wrong with a little black dress and stepping out in a pair for red hot stilettos.
