Kelly and Billy Split, Wesley Snipes Jailed and Forgetting Sarah Marshall

It has recently been announced that Kelly Brooke and fiancé Billy Zane have ended their 4 year relationship together. I’m actually quite sad about this as they were one of my favourite celebrity couples, they seemed very down to earth and comfortable in each others company and it was obvious they had a huge commitment to eachother which shone through when Kelly recently appeared in strictly come dancing and Billy was there every night cheering her on from the audience. The poor guy always looked a bit bemused by Brucies renowned clichéd jokes and comments but that’s not really his fault now is it!

After the sad death of Kelly’s father, she has obviously had time to reconsider her priorities in life and decided that she wasn’t ready to get married yet. She has always said that her and Billy had an intense relationship but maybe the intensity is something Kelly can do without right now. The split is apparently 100% amicable and the two seem to be getting on with their lives as best they can. Kelly was pictured all smiles a few days ago so I guess she must feel as if a weight has been lifted from her shoulders. Good luck to both her and Billy; they both seem like great people.

A source said: “After much soul-searching, Kelly decided that Billy is not the man she wants to marry and has called off the engagement.

“The split is completely amicable and the decision was made after long conversations here and in the US. They remain good friends.

“When her dad passed away she spent a lot of time mulling over life and decided she was too young to settle down. Billy was keen, but she kept delaying plans for the big day. He started asking questions- and they eventually decided to go their separate ways.”

Kelly’s spokesperson later confirmed that she had ended her relationship.

On a very different note, I’ve only just heard about actor Wesley Snipes being sentenced to jail! There’s me thinking that celebs usually get away with their crimes and unruly behaviour but this time it seemed fame and fortune did nothing to save Wesley Snipes as he was sentenced to 3 years in jail for tax evasion! Despite several pleas from his famous friends like Denzel Washington and Woody Harrelson who came forward to say what a great guy Wesley is the judges were not swayed and he was sentenced none the less.

Whilst I’m glad to see that Hollywood stars are getting the same treatment as your average Joe Bloggs on the street I must admit to being a little sad, I do like the guys movies and think he’s a very talented actor. I have to wonder just what his jail experience will be like though don’t you? I’m sure he’ll be given some kind of special treatment etc….

My top pick for movies to see this weekend has got to be ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ It looks absolutely hilarious and has been getting pretty good early reviews. I may be biased in the fact that I adore Russell Brand, but hey! The movie seems to have a very slapstick kind of feel to it, so I’m guessing its one your can take your husbands or boyfriends to without them being totally bored by another ‘romantic comedy’ I’ll definitely be off to see it ASAP so let us know what you thought if you make it to the movies yourself!
