Get Creative With Corsages – 5 Ways to Wear Them This Spring
With just a few days to wait before we can tuck into our Easter eggs I thought it would be a good idea to post some ideas for creative ways of wearing corsages. Floral trends are big news at the moment and Easter Sunday gives you an extra excuse to tout a bit of flower power about and brighten up your wardrobe.
Look 1: The Corsage Collar. Take a plain scoop necked T shirt in white or black and pin a range of small corsages around the collar. You can pick up small corsages cheaply enough at places like H & M and Primark so it’s both minimum effort and minimum spend for an on-trend killer look!
Look 2: The Corsage Headband. The likes of Posh Spice and Scarlett Johansson have been seen sporting these little beauties and you don’t have to be on your way to a wedding to make it work for you. Choose headbands with small subtle flowers or clip some onto a plain band for yourself to create your own customised creation.
Look 3: The Corsage Hemming. Most of us are used to pinning corsages to our lapels but very few of us have probably thought about pinning them to our skirts. You can use just one to add contrast and creativity to a plain skirt or clip them all along the hem for a really outrageous twist.
Look 4: The Corsage Handbag. Don’t buy another handbag for Easter Sunday! Instead customise a plain handbag by pinning corsages to the front or along the strap. It’s like a new handbag without the annoying credit card bill at the end of it.
Look 5: The Corsage Wristband. Go all lady-like with a pair of white lace gloves and securely pin a corsage or a few small corsages to the wrist. It would make the perfect accessory for a day dress and will definitely make you stand out from the crowd.
