Farrah Fawcett’s star, and beloved hairstyle, will shine forever

As news of Farrah Fawcett’s passing was quickly overshadowed by the death of Michael Jackson, millions of mourners recalled Fawcett’s signature locks and the stir they caused in the late 1970s as her star rose with the popularity of her iconic television series Charlie’s Angels.
This look is surprisingly easy to acheive with a modern hair cut! If you have a longer cut with layers and angling around your face, as so many of us do, it’s easy to get the “Farrah flip.”
Section off your hair front and back, in front of and behind your ears. Rough dry the back of your hair using a round brush to flip out the ends. Don’t use too much product as volume is key for this look. A light mousse would work well.
Then more carefully dry the front sections of your hair. Taking one or two inch section brush it back towards the back of your head using the round brush and your hair dryer. Be sure to flick the ends to get that bent-end look.
