Copy Scarlett Johansson’s French twist for a night out

We’ve been seeing a lot more modern incarnations of the French twist since retro influences like Mad Men started popping up. Once your mother’s solution to formalwear hair, this style has taken a turn for the fashionable.
To get this look, start by applying mousse or volumizing spray to damp hair and rough-drying your hair using a blow dryer and your hands to create a natural-looking texture.
Using a round brush, blow dry your top section of hair (from your ears forward) straight and put in two large velcro rollers.
Gather your remaining hair and roll it to one side to create a French twist and pin it into place. This look doesn’t require perfection, so be forgiving and don’t stress about getting it exact.
Remove the rollers from the front section of hair and gently tease if more volume is needed. Smooth over the top section of hair and spritz with hairspray. For long hair, roll the ends under and pin above the twist in the back.
