Between the consultation and appointment colour is applied to the strands, allowing the client to see the results prior to final commitment.”

This may sound simple enough, but Karen explains that salons which do not offer a skin test are not only putting their client’s health at risk, but could be taking the law into their own hands.

“3D colour mimics the hairs natural colours. This technique ensures that your colour remains natural and, most importantly to us at girlznight, in optimum condition.”

“Legally, all salons are required to skin test for allergies at least 48 hours prior to using colour on the scalp. Sadly the majority are ignoring this requirement and risking the well being of their clients.”
