Handbag designer Carlos Falchi is bringing his signature snakeskin designs to mass retailer Target, albeit in faux snakeskin and for a fraction of the price of one of his high-end creations. But if there’s any pairing that could make fake snake look real chic, it’s Falchi and Target.

The collection, debuting in October – just in time for holiday – will consist of 13 jewel-toned handbags in solids, patchwork and collage designs.

This is Target’s eighth designer handbag collaboration, following such hits as Anya Hindemarch and Botkier.
