CAN’T STOP: …listening to kings of leon new track, ‘Sex on fire’.
…listening to kings of leon new track, ‘Sex on fire’.
My sex is on fire just listening to this track. Although I loved Molly and those fantastic Chambers, I did not become a true worshipper at the Kings church until I fell head over heals with album number two. Since then I’ve been hooked, with a personal highlight of last year being their live experience and bearing witness to the unabashed on stage onslaught which came my way.
My heart did temporarily cease a-beating, and not just because of the edible talent performing to my front. As my severely intoxicated friend decided we were heading to the front row, I felt my bee begin to hive! When I suddenly realised I could no longer draw breath or indeed move I sensed panic attack mode descending upon me and somehow managed to pull both of us out of there only to end up in a makeshift moshpit with many a fan bounding about in crazy mode to the mesmerising live set. This was hysterical!! I could not stop laughing and could not help but join in the shenanigans as the bouncers eyed me and the rest of my cavemen with irate suspect glares.
Kings of leon are a force of nature on stage to be reckoned with, but they’re nothing in comparison to their crazy Glaswegian fans! Suffice to say I will definitely be there in December when they return to form with what I suspect is their blistering new material.
