Cameron Grieves for Dad Britney Doing Well and The 2008 Soap Awards

Tonight is the night of The 2008 British Soap Awards. Who will you be voting for?? Some of the awards up for grabs are: Sexiest Male and Female, Best Actor and Actress, Best Comedy Performance, Villain of the Year, Spectacular Scene of the Year, Best On-Screen Partnership and of course the ultimate accolade, Best British Soap. Coronation Street won last year but personally I’d love to see Eastenders of Hollyoaks win this year! Hollyoaks has had some of the most amazing storylines this past year and I think it’s possibly one of the most underrated soaps on our screens at the moment. This Morning TV Duo Fern and Phillip will be presenting so it should be a giggle to watch, I’m looking forward to watching it on ITV Wednesday!

Now try to contain your shock, but it seems that Britney Spears is actually NOT doing anything crazy this week. I know it’s hard to believe but the star seems to be getting her life well and truly back on track, I’m happy for her and absolutely cannot wait for her big comeback! I wonder who will get the all important exclusive interviews etc when she does choose to talk about her troubled year of crazy antics. She is reportedly over the moon about her sister’s pregnancy and has bought a string of expensive presents including a massive toy elephant which she put in a box and tried to make air hols in the side for… ok that’s a bit crazy but come on; compared to her usual antics I think we can let her off lol.

Lastly Cameron Diaz was missing in action for a recent interview on Jonathan Ross chat show, she was supposed to appear alongside ‘What happened in Vegas’ co star Ashton Kutcher but had to pull out due to the tragic death of her father. So whilst Ashton was left to reveal his webbed toes on Jonathan Ross show (Long story) poor Cameron was not having so much fun. Her father Emilio aged 58, passed away from pneumonia a couple of weeks ago leaving the star and her family understandably inconsolable. However, Cameron put on a brave face for the LA premier of the movie last night and revealed that she would be giving her family a private screening of the movie to cheer them up. Good on Cameron for staying strong through this hard time!
