Calzaghe Wins in Vegas, Amy Caught Doing Drugs and Sandra Bullock in a Car Crash

Welsh boxer Joe Calzaghe beat out American Bernard Hopkins in Vegas last night, a new video has surfaced of Amy Winehouse smoking cannabis and Sandra Bullock and her husband were hit by a drunk driver.

Undefeated champion boxer Joe Calzaghe continued his impressive run last night in his big fight against American Bernard Hopkins in Las Vegas. So many celebrities turned up to enjoy the fight and support their favourite.

On the Welsh side there was old school crooner Tom Jones, A list actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd. Showing up in support of the American were diva Whitney Houston, superstar Brad Pitt and Mr. Rocky himself, Sylvester Stallone.

I’m totally biased on this one being Welsh! Of course I wanted Calzaghe to win.

Luckily for us, despite a rough first round, the Newport lad finally won on points after a split decision from the judges.

In other news, celebrity train wreck Amy Winehouse is officially off the wagon again after a brief period of sobriety. The singer of smash hit single Rehab has once again been caught on camera doing drugs.

This past week, troubled Amy was filmed by the paparazzi smoking cannabis on a London street as she returned home from celebrating a friend’s birthday. She doesn’t even care if she’s caught now! It’s so sad.

The rumours are that Wino’s record company will refuse to release her next album until she is clean, which is a very good idea, and strangely caring of a record company, in my opinion. Now let’s just hope she sorts herself out and soon.

And finally, we have a celebrity car crash that actually wasn’t the celeb’s fault! That’s almost unheard of.

Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James were hit by a drunk driver in Massachusetts Friday evening where the actress is filming her latest movie The Proposal.

The driver, who was later found to be two and a half times of the legal limit of alcohol to drive, lost control and veered into oncoming traffic, hitting the car that Sandra and Jesse were being driven in head on. Luckily, there were no injuries this time.

Don’t drink and drive people!
