I breathed a sigh of relief last week when Britney spears was finally hospitalised and committed to stay at UCLA Medical Centre. I actually thought, wow this is when we’re going to see her make her big comeback and show some sort of commitment that she actually wants to get better and regain rights to see her children. Turns out I was mistaken, as she was released the other day and seems to have almost immediately gone back to her old ways. Why can’t she admit she needs help?! I’m still hoping she’s going to get better eventually but the outlook is looking bleaker and bleaker and if she’s not careful I fear she will be going down the same road as Heath Ledger whose death was ruled as an accidental mix of medications. Hopefully press will now leave Heaths family to grieve in peace.

Kirsten Dunst is the latest Hollywood star to check into rehab. I’m actually quite surprised by this, I don’t know why but I always thought she was relatively clean cut. After splitting with her boyfriend Johnny Borrell a few weeks ago she doesn’t appear to be ‘in a good place’ right now and was reportedly in tears and erratic when she checked herself in to the Cirque Lodge clinic in Utah. Good to see that she’s getting help though and hopefully she will be on the road to recovery soon.

Fans of Grey’s Anatomy may be shocked to hear that Eric Dane aka our beloved McSteamy has been secretly battling skin cancer. He is all better now ladies so don’t worry he will be returning to screens as normal (when the writer’s strike finally ends!) but he seems to have had it quite tough lately. Eric confided in OK Magazine recently and said he first detected something was wrong when he looked in the mirror and saw what looked like chapped lips but clearly wasn’t.
“I went to my dermatologist,” Dane tells OK!. “He said it was malignant tissue caused by sun damage.”

Thankfully after a nasty reaction to the treatment Eric now seems to be back to his normal self.

Finally Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony stepped out recently at the Marchesa Fall 2008 show which is part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. My goodness doesn’t she look absolutely huge?! Just about ready to pop I’d say! I wish I looked that good during my pregnancy though *sulks*
