Behind the scenes of Jessica Biel’s June Allure cover shoot
For the June cover of Allure magazine, Jessica Biel was shot by Michael Thompson in Long Beach, California. She showed up fashions from boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s William Rast collection, natch. A pair of fringed boots were her favorite piece.
“These are the exact ones they had at the show in New York,” she said. “They sent me a pair the models wore, because they hadn’t been produced yet, but I loved them so much.”
Hairstylist Serge Normant went for a “natural, wavy look that’s very soft and sexy.” It’s also not that hard to achieve if you have shoulder length or longer hair with some natural wave to it. Start by applying a volumizer like KMS California Add Volume Blow Dry Lotion and a smoothing serum such as Matrix Biolage Smoothing Serum which is lightweight so it will let waves be light and bouncy.
Part hair down the middle and rough dry using only your hands, not a brush. Curl a few random sections with a wide barrel curing iron and let the summer breeze do the rest.
