BB Is Back! Special Friday Column dedicated to the Hit Reality TV Show Big Brother.

Hi everyone! Well, I’m sure you can’t have escaped the Big Brother mania that’s been sweeping the UK this week with the launch of Big Brother 9 last night. Seeing as how there’s so much to talk about I thought we’d make this week’s column especially focused on Big Brother so that we can get some early views of the show in and ponder over just what the BB Bosses have in store for the 16 unsuspecting housemates this year.
First up let’s talk about the house. It’s definitely bigger this year isn’t it? There’s elements of luxury like the gorgeous bedroom, but also a rather dull looking bedroom on the other side, I wonder how they will choose who goes in what bedroom?….
The idea of making the housemates have to ‘buy’ their luxury this year is a good one. If they want simple things like straighteners, curling tongs and hot water they all have to be purchased from the weekly budget which will be fun to see when they have a bad week just how will they cope with messy hair and no water for a bath or shower?! Some people’s true colours will definitely start to show.
So, let’s talk housemates. A record breaking 16 went into the house this year including the first ever BB ‘couple’ and controversially a blind man. The brilliant twist in the first hour being that the real couple in the house Mario and Lisa had to pretend they were not really an item and instead Mario had to fool the rest of the housemates that he and Stephanie were in fact the actual big brother couple. Of course this is sure to spark fireworks between Lisa, Stephanie and Mario and that’s exactly what BB Bosses had planned on I’m sure! Can you imagine watching your fella with another woman in that house? I know I wouldn’t be too happy about it that’s for sure. I wonder if they can keep the act up long enough to pass their secret mission?
My top male hotties in the house so far are Dale (His arrogance could get very annoying though) Mohamed, as he seems like a genuinely nice guy and Rex who although seems quite up himself at the mo does say he is shy deep down… we’ll have to keep watching to see if he’s telling the truth.
No doubt I’ll be hooked to this show just like I have been every other year so far, despite saying “I’m not watching this year” it’s just kind of become classic summer TV viewing.
